EFL STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS AND PRACTICES ON LEARNING STRATEGIES TOWARDS ESP FOR POLITICAL EDUCATION: A CASE AT SCHOOL OF POLITICAL SCIENCES, CAN THO UNIVERSITY, VIETNAM

<p>This study investigates the perceptions and practices of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students regarding learning strategies for Specific Purposes (ESP) in context Political Education. The focuses on six (6) Oxford (1990)'s classification, including (1) memorization strategies, (2) cognitive (3) compensation (4) metacognitive (5) affective social strategies. A mixed-methods approach is employed, questionnaire interviews. First, 101 items are administered to investigate perception practice Then interviews with teachers employed capture more details about participants’ towards ESP sample consists 187 EFL from School Sciences, Can Tho University, Vietnam who currently participating Education course named "Specialized Course 2". findings reveal that majority have positive recognize importance mastering this area.</p><p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/soc/0008/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>
